The purpose of this project was to conduct follow-up inspections of environmental impact assessments, to evaluate the treatment efficiency, and to provide inspections of the public and private w a s t e c l e a r a n c e a n d d i s p o s a l o r g a n i z a t i o n s . The services provided for this year were the followings: 1. Conducted follow-up environmental inspections for 5 public and private w a s t e c l e a r a n c e a n d d i s p o s a l o rg a n i z a t i o n s monitored by the EPA. It was to urge them to follow the 簡要版摘要 EPA96H10202131 簡要版摘要 - 3 items agreed in the environmental impact assessments and to assist them in improving their works and enhancing their operation efficiency. 2. Conducted inspection of 62 public and private w a s t e c l e a r a n c e a n d d i s p o s a l o r g a n i z a t i o n s . It was to make sure that the public and private w a s t e c l e a r a n c e a n d d i s p o s a l o rg a n i z a t i o n s follow the Waste Disposal Act and other laws related to waste disposal. 3. Conducted sampling and analysis of the water quality at the 9 public and private sanitary landfills, and reviewed the analysis results. 4. Held 7 seminars and meetings on public and private w a s t e c l e a r a n c e an d d i s p o s a l org a n i z a t i o n m a n a g emen t e n h a n c eme n t . 5. Treating methods of electrical deposition, solidification and smelting were chosen and the treatment logicality and efficiency were evaluated. This project also described the product specifications, usage and marketing, as well as established the information on waste treatment facilities.
